The Salgados Lagoon Trail or Passadiços dos Salgados is a wonderful trail to explore yet another lake setting in the western Algarve, very close to Armação de Pêra beach.

HOW TO GET TO THE LAKE OF SALGADOS

To reach Lagoa dos Salgados, the ideal is to take the car to the car park of the Carlos restaurant. Leave the car there and start the Passadiços dos Salgados, on Salgados beach, between Praia Grande de Pêra and Armação de Pêra beach.

ROUTE BY THE SALGATED PASSADIÇOS TRILE

You can make the complete Passadiços dos Salgados trail, between Praia Grande de Armação de Pêra and Lagoa dos Salgados, a total of 10 km or just make Lagoa dos Salgados, a circular route of about 3 km. The Passadiços dos Salgados trail is actually two, the source and the bridge, which can be joined on the Passadiços dos Salgados trail. Whether you make the entire route or just one part of the trail, it will be really worth it. Wonderful! With lots of birds, a dune atmosphere, and wonderful light. But, nevertheless, if you are in Armação de Pêra, the ideal is to make the complete Passadiços dos Salgados route, 10 km, as it is more beautiful and is an excellent walk to a day at the beach.
